According to credible reports, Fish Magnet was abducted on July 26, 2025, by unidentified assailants. Despite efforts made by his loved ones, including the payment of a ransom, he was still tragically killed by his captors. The motive and identity of those responsible remain unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
Amid the widespread mourning, a Facebook user identified as Nkiruka Joy Ikechukwu Nwandu posted a screenshot of her last conversation with the late entrepreneur. In the chat, Nkiruka had given feedback about a fish package delivered to her by Fish Magnet before his untimely death.
Fish Magnet responded with patience and professionalism, requesting that she double-check the contents of the cartons. He offered to replace any missing fish in the next delivery, assuring her that customer satisfaction was his priority. His exact message reads: “Count it please. And, did it happen to the two cartons and only one cartons? If it’s not up to 40 pieces, I will replace it anytime I send you fish.”
