An European man currently living in Nigeria has sparked widespread attention online after sharing a video in which he passionately praised life in the West African nation while criticizing the Western media for its persistent negative portrayal of the country.
In his viral video, the unidentified man expressed deep satisfaction with the freedom and lifestyle he enjoys in Nigeria. He strongly condemned European television networks, accusing them of deliberately spreading misinformation and creating fear about Nigeria’s safety and livability.
He stated that contrary to what many Europeans might believe, Nigeria is not only safe but also offers a better standard of living compared to several places in Europe.
“All the Europe television saying that Nigeria is dangerous, don’t put your money there; I can do what I want here [in Nigeria] and I am more free here than in Europe,” he declared passionately in the clip.
He further encouraged his fellow Europeans to set aside stereotypes and visit Nigeria for themselves. According to him, the beauty, food, and daily life in the country are often overlooked or misrepresented by foreign media outlets.
“You can also invest here and [it’s] beautiful. The food and the life here is better than in Europe; forget what the European television says, all is lie; everything is a lie,” he added, emphasizing the potential Nigeria holds for both tourism and investment.
