She revealed that over the last three years, the stigma of being unmarried at her age has intensified, with men dismissing her as “too old” and even children mocking her by calling her “grandma.”
Determined to change her situation, she approached the radio station to help her find a suitable partner.
Explaining her decision, she said: “Time is going, I can’t continue like this. Since three years ago, men see me as an old woman and say ‘this one is old.’ If a child sees me, they call me grandma. That’s why I came here to find help. I just want a person who is reasonable and responsible. I’m tired. People are beginning to see me as an irresponsible fellow in my community.”
