The family of three brothers who proudly serve in the Nigerian Army has been plunged into grief following the tragic death of one of the siblings during an intense gun battle that occurred on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
The painful announcement was made public by one of the surviving brothers, a soldier known on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle @3StarGod, who used the platform to share the family's deep sorrow and request for support.
“It is with deep sadness that I announce that 1 amongst the 3 Brothers serving paid the supreme price yesterday, July 29th,” he wrote. “As a family, we will appreciate your thoughts, prayers & support during this difficult time. If you come across this, pray for the soul of my Brother.”
In another emotionally charged post, the devastated soldier opened up further about the immense pain and heartbreak caused by the loss of his beloved brother.
“Death really punched me in the face by taking you away from the rest of us. You will be deeply missed by the family and everyone who knows you. Rest In Power, Kiddo,” he expressed in his tribute.
The grieving brother had previously shared a touching story in 2020, expressing immense pride in their mother's strength and patriotism. According to him, their mother gave birth to four sons and willingly committed three of them to serve in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
“My Mama gave birth to 4 cute boys and she wholeheartedly gave out the hand of 3 in marriage to the Nigerian Armed Forces. A strong woman she is,” he proudly stated at the time, highlighting the family's deep-rooted dedication to national service.
