Reality TV star and BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna, has once again spoken out in an emotional plea for justice regarding the tragic accident that left her younger sister battling severe injuries. The incident, which she claims was caused by a Dangote truck, has left her sister with one leg amputated and in danger of losing the other.
Phyna, whose real name is Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, revealed that her sister had only recently graduated before the devastating accident occurred. According to her, the truck driver did not immediately stop after hitting her sister, but was instead chased down before finally halting. She expressed deep frustration over the lack of concrete action from both the police and the Dangote company despite her repeated attempts to reach out to them for accountability.
In a video message shared on her social media, the reality star recounted the harrowing medical ordeal her sister has endured. She described how doctors had to perform emergency procedures, including cutting her sister open to remove waste products, in order to save her life. Phyna noted that this was not a matter she had wanted to escalate publicly, but said she had been left with no choice due to what she described as silence and unresponsiveness from the parties involved.
The emotional toll of the accident was evident in her voice as she expressed her disappointment over the way the matter has been handled. Phyna also emphasized that no family should have to endure such negligence and injustice, and vowed to continue pushing until her sister gets the justice she deserves.
She concluded by urging well-meaning Nigerians, human rights groups, and the general public to stand with her family in demanding accountability from those responsible.
