Reality TV star Josephina “Phyna” Otabor, well-known for emerging as the winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show, has taken to social media to openly confront Nigerian billionaire industrialist Aliko Dangote and his multinational conglomerate, the Dangote Group, over a disturbing incident in which a company truck allegedly ran over and severely injured her sister. The shocking revelation, which she shared in a strongly worded statement online, has quickly gained attention and sparked heated conversations across social media platforms, with many fans and members of the public expressing outrage and calling for accountability.
In her post, Phyna accused the Dangote Group of not only being connected to the vehicle involved in the accident but also of engaging in questionable actions after the fact. She alleged that, rather than focusing on the welfare of her injured sister, the company had directed the Nigerian police to remove the plate number from the truck that was involved in the tragic incident. The claim, if true, raises serious concerns about possible interference in evidence handling and has fueled public speculation about whether there might be an attempt to shield those responsible from legal consequences.

She went on to reveal that one of Dangote’s managers was scheduled to visit the police station in charge of handling the case. Phyna questioned the company’s priorities, asking why no representative from the Dangote Group had shown the basic courtesy or human compassion to visit her sister in the hospital before making official appearances at the police station. This lack of direct concern for the victim’s wellbeing, she suggested, speaks volumes about the company’s attitude toward ordinary Nigerians affected by its operations.
Clearly upset, the former Big Brother Naija winner issued a stern warning, insisting that both the truck and the driver involved in the accident must remain in police custody until justice is served. She vowed that this case would not be swept under the carpet like others in the past, asserting that too many innocent lives have been lost or harmed in similar incidents involving heavy-duty vehicles. In an emotionally charged statement, delivered partly in Nigerian Pidgin English, she said, “You have money, but you are not God… my God is bigger. Enough is enough, you have hurt too many people, but this time, it won’t be the same.” Her words carried the weight of personal pain and a call for systemic change.

At the time of writing, there has been no official comment from the Dangote Group regarding these serious allegations, and Aliko Dangote himself has not made any public statement on the matter. This silence has further fueled speculation, with many online users urging the company to address the situation promptly and transparently.
