An old video showing renowned Fuji musician, K1 De Ultimate, engaged in a personal phone conversation with Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has surfaced online, sparking renewed discussions across social media platforms.
The clip resurfaced shortly after news broke that K1 De Ultimate was blacklisted by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) for a period of six months following an incident at a Nigerian airport involving alleged air safety protocol violations.

In the now-viral video, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is seen reaching out to the Fuji maestro to express his condolences over the passing of K1’s beloved mother, Alhaja Halima Shadiya Anifowoshe, who passed away at the remarkable age of 105.
During the heartfelt call, K1 De Ultimate acknowledged the president’s gesture with immense gratitude. He responded with words of appreciation, saying, “Why will I suffer? You are the president. Thank you very much sir,” signifying both respect and emotional relief in receiving support from the country’s leader.
The emergence of the video triggered a wave of mixed reactions online. Some users interpreted the interaction as evidence of K1's perceived closeness to power, especially in light of his recent run-in with aviation authorities.
One user, Abacha, commented sarcastically, “Probably, that inspired him to try blcking a jet from taxing off. He jammed another high headed woman pilot that nearly severed his head,” referencing the controversial airport incident.
Another netizen, Nedu Christiana, humorously wrote, “Na how them take dodge the plane body still dey funny me, even me too bend my neck as I Dey watch am 😂 that was close hmmm 🤔,” highlighting the intense nature of the altercation while keeping it lighthearted.
In a more blunt remark, Chijoke stated, “E get luck, plane for don chop that head comot,” expressing how dangerously close the incident came to a tragic end.
Further reactions included Ulueme, who offered a speculative take, saying, “This is the reason for his attitude,” suggesting that his perceived influence or connection to the presidency might explain his alleged behavior during the airport incident.
