Popular Nigerian comedian, Deeone, has continued to poke fun at controversial activist Verydarkman over his noticeable absence at singer Davido’s lavish wedding ceremony, claiming that the award-winning artist deliberately invited one of the activist’s known rivals to the event. According to Deeone, this act was no coincidence but a calculated move that further fueled existing tensions between the two parties.
It should be recalled that Davido recently tied the knot with his longtime partner and wife, Chioma, in a glamorous white wedding that took place in Miami, USA. The event, which was attended by numerous celebrities, influential personalities, and business moguls, has remained a hot topic on social media due to the high-profile guest list and luxury on display.
While Verydarkman had previously attended Davido’s traditional wedding in Nigeria, his absence at the Miami white wedding raised eyebrows among fans. Deeone, seizing the opportunity, alleged that Davido went out of his way to invite Pinovibes, an individual known to have a strained relationship with the activist, thereby making a bold statement with his guest choices.
The comedian further claimed that the wedding guest list was full of people who were not on good terms with Verydarkman. He specifically mentioned social media influencer Tunde Ednut, businessman Obi Cubana, and a certain Dre, all of whom were present to celebrate with the singer. However, the activist himself did not make the cut for the invitation list.
