Social media critic, Daniel Regha, sparked conversation by asserting that Grammy-winning star Burna Boy remains an up-and-coming artist in comparison to industry heavyweights like Wizkid, Davido, and Olamide.
He shared these views during an appearance on the popular podcast "Doyin’s Corner" hosted by ex‑BBNaija housemate, Doyinsola.

According to Regha, despite Burna Boy’s mainstream success, his breakthrough came significantly later than that of Wizkid and Davido—placing him in a different category altogether.
[Returns to paragraphs to preserve BBCode]He emphasized that “there is a set for each artist and Burna Boy popped up much later before Wizkid and Davido.” Regha drew a parallel by referencing music icons like 2Face, stating that grouping them together in influence or timeline doesn’t align with their individual trajectories. He said: “When these artists were popping up, Burna was nowhere to be found. Burna had his own group of people that popped the same time with him. There is a set for everybody. It’s like putting 2Face, Wizkid and Davido. It doesn’t make any sense. Because 2Face literally surpassed all of them.”
